Job Description

Mō te tūnga | About our Role:

We're growing and are looking for an experienced Patient Coordinator to join our fabulous team in this full-time vacancy.  In this role you will deliver an exceptional administrative booking coordinator service for patients and clinicians.  This is a role that requires an experienced administrator used to working in a dynamic and complex environment where plans and priorities may change daily to accommodate changing patient needs.  You will be managing the bookings of incoming patient referrals, ensuring all data is correct as you coordinate with the different clinician and patient requirements.  You’ll triage patient enquiries, manage treatment estimates, track and assess patient appointments and requests, constantly ensuring our patients receive well-coordinated care.  It’s a demanding role that requires a high level of organisational skill, adaptability and outstanding attention to detail.  It’s also a role where you know everything you do is important. 

Desired Skills and Experience

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Essential skills/experience for the role:

  • Experienced with medical administrative work and if this includes oncology admin experience this will be amazing!
  • Able to deal with complex administrative requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Well organised with the flexibility to adapt to daily changing priorities
  • Knowledge of MOSAIQ patient management system would be an advantage.
  • Able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Committed to the provision of service excellence.
