Job Description
Mō te tūnga | About our Role:
We have an exciting new leadership role within our Cardiology Day Unit to lead the growth and development of this dynamic service. Reporting to the Hospital Manager, as Business Unit Manager you will be a highly motivated and experienced clinical professional. You will provide clinical, operational and professional leadership of the CDU and liaise closely with affiliated services.
You will work closely with the Charge Nurse and clinical team to position CDU as an innovative centre of excellence.
This is a 1.0 FTE position.
Desired Skills and Experience

You will be a registered nurse with extensive senior clinical experience in Cardiology services.
Demonstrated leadership qualities:
The ability to develop and implement a strategic plan
Adept at managing multiple pieces of work and prioritising the demands of a diverse range of stakeholders.
Excellent consumer / patient / clinician focus.
Strong organisational understanding; negotiation skills and critical thinking.
An inclusive and approachable working style; with a clear understanding of the value diversity adds.
Co-operative and supportive team player.
